About Our Founder: SUBHAPRADA NISHTALA

SubhapradaNishtala is an accomplished senior executive with 22 years of experience in food safety and quality operations in Food Processing Industry across organizations including Coca-Cola India and Al Kabeer Exports. An alumnus of CFTRI Mysore, her experience includes a rich mix of audit and training delivery, frontline factory operations, quality assurance and compliance. She has managed Senior leadership positions in Corporate sector with responsibility for manufacturing, Operations, Regulatory and New Product development She is passionate about food safety and sincerely believes that food science professionals need to contribute to building awareness and solutions. She works towards driving awareness and implementation of the relevant principles of life sciences, and physical sciences, as well as of a wide variety of other topics, including nutrition, preservation and storage techniques, processing unit operations, bio-processing, waste management, distribution and supply chain management, food laws and regulations. .

She currently holds the honorary position of President of AFST(I) Mumbai Chapter Visiting Faculty for Post Graduate Programs at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai and 5 other leading Post Graduate Colleges.

Solution developed was for reuse of multi laminate packaging material in developing truck tarpaulins which have an impact of reducing the temperature build up during transportation of fresh fruits and vegetable, die to the Aluminum film properties. A 15% improvement in life of brinjal was demonstrated.
